Heinola receives order in Estonia

Combimill Reopalu OÜ invested in a new 2-zone Progressive Kiln type HFB  in Estonia. The new HFB-Progressive Kiln will be taken into production in the beginning of year 2019.

According to the announcement, the company placed an order with Heinola Sawmill Machinery for the equipment with annual capacity of ca. 32 000 m3 when drying sideboards to 18 % final moisture content. The kiln building is made of selfsupporting, wide stainless steel elements.

The existing three 2-zone progressive kilns will be also connected to advanced HEINOLA Drying Kiln Control System.

Combimill Reopalu OÜ sawmill is operated by Combi Group. It was founded in 2014. The land owned by the sawmill covers about 8,5 hectars. In 2017, Combimill Reopalu OÜ was employing 55 people. The modern, state-of-the-art technology being used on site allows the two sawmills to cut roughly 260,000 cubic metres of sawn timber a year, in total.

Combi Group is a leading Estonian timber industry group, which owns one forest management company, two sawmills, six wood after treatment plants and one distribution service company.

The Combimill Sakala and Combimill Reopalu OÜ sawmills are operated by Combi Group. The group’s principal activity is the production of sawn timber from roundwood.
