The results of the German Federal Forest Inventory 2022 were presented on October 8, 2024 at the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture by Minister Cem Özdemir and the head of the Federal Forest Inventory at the Thünen Institute, Dr. Thomas Riedel. The results show - as was probably largely expected - an ambivalent picture. In addition, there is a questionable focus in the interpretation of these figures during the presentation.
