Description |
Siberian Larch is one of the best conifer species, growing in the harsh climate of Siberia, where summers are short and exceptionally hot, while winters are long and freezing. Its high durability and exceptional resistance to fungi and decay make Siberian Larch wood ideal for use in open terraces, facades, and exterior joinery. It is also perfect for fences, railings, piers, and gazebos.
Siberian Larch is slow-growing wood, with a high density and small annual growth rings. It has a light, natural color, and its texture and durability make it suitable for use without any finishing. Over time, untreated boards change to a silver-gray color, which is a natural aging process. They can also be impregnated and stained in any color if desired. The rich number of growth rings on the wood gives Siberian Larch boards a unique, distinctive appearance, perfectly fitting the increasingly popular Scandinavian style. The estimated durability of products made from Siberian Larch is around 15-25 years, although with proper care, they can last even several decades. |
