DIR - Drvna industrija Rubinić d.o.o.

At the very beginning, it was produced in a small facility of only 40m2, on an old machine, and the production was accompanied by numerous difficulties regarding the procurement of raw materials and finding a market.

In the following years, in the post-war period, the demand for wooden coverings grows, quality suppliers of raw materials are found and production develops rapidly.

At the end of the nineties of the last century, the processing of oak wood began, and the workshop became Drvna industrija Rubinić and developed into one of the most modern wood industries in Croatia with modern technology for wood processing.

Thanks to constant investments, we maintain this status to this day, when we employ about 130 employees.

Since 2007, along with Ivan Rubinić, his son Tomislav has become an equal owner of the business, and due to its size, since mid-2012 we have been operating as DIR-Drvna industrija Rubinić d.o.o.

DIR produces paneling, boat flooring, planers, sawn fir/spruce lumber, various slats, balcony railings, material for making wooden houses and oak elements. The last product from our assortment is massive glued oak panels.

In addition to our own products, in our stores in Sisak and Jastrebarski it is possible to get all building materials and exterior and interior doors.

Solid panels and oak elements are produced according to the principles of the FSC ® (FSC-C001894) certification system, i.e. they meet the following FSC requirements: quality system requirements, wood origin requirements, production control requirements and record keeping, FSC product and labeling requirements and documentation requirements.

Professional supervision and constant control ensure a high-quality technological process; from the procurement of raw materials, processing and finalization to the actual shipment of finished products.

An additional guarantee of quality is the fact that DIR sells its products not only in Croatia but also on foreign markets throughout Europe.

DIR has its own vehicle fleet for the delivery of raw materials as well as for the delivery of finished products to customers. Cooperation has been achieved with numerous construction and other companies that equip residential, commercial and other facilities with our products. We are known as a reliable and competent partner who respects the agreed delivery dates and guarantees the quality of the delivered products.

Today, DIR is a prosperous company with a long tradition and a tendency for further growth. Our goal is to continuously invest in production and human potential and to achieve quality in line with our customers' expectations.
