The “Gros Chêne” sawmill is a family business created in 1974 with a main purpose: Your satisfaction! If “Frankly Wood” (“Franchement Bois”) is our slogan, it is not a coincidence. Based in Franche-Comté (region in the east of France), we select, for you, logs from the best provenances with love and respect for this noble material which is the wood. We exploit around 15 000 m3 of wood per year in departments of the eastern France as the Doubs, Haute Saone and Jura. Species like oak, ash, beech, linden, hornbeam, barn and all the hardwoods that we can find in our beautiful forests of Eastern France.
